Role Overview
Emami Limited is looking for an Efficiency Development and Improvement Manager to drive business performance, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives across the Healthcare Division (HCD). The role will focus on identifying growth opportunities, improving profitability, and enhancing operational efficiency across OTC and Medico businesses.
The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to drive key transformation projects, track business performance, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives such as cost-saving programs and brand re-launches.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Growth & Strategic Initiatives
· Identify and drive business growth opportunities through pilot projects aimed at improving differential sales
· Explore and implement synergy opportunities across OTC and Medico segments
· Support new initiatives to unlock incremental revenue streams and improve market performance
Cost Efficiency & Optimization
· Identify and implement opportunities for COGS reduction across product categories
· Drive initiatives to reduce channel costs and improve distribution efficiency
· Monitor and minimize damaged stocks and reduce write-offs of Finished Goods, Raw Materials (RM), and Packaging Materials (PM)
· Work closely with Supply Chain and Finance teams to improve overall cost structures
Performance Tracking & Analytics
· Track business-wise and brand-wise performance across key metrics including profitability, ROI, and sales performance
· Analyze performance trends and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions
· Monitor ROI on key initiatives and recommend optimization strategies
Cross-functional Project Management
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams
· Drive cost-saving, revenue growth, and profitability improvement projects
· Identify and execute synergy benefits across multiple CFTs (Cross-Functional Teams)
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
6–10 years of experience in Business Strategy / Sales Excellence / Commercial / Consulting roles, preferably within FMCG / Healthcare / Pharma sectors
Qualification
MBA from a reputed institute (preferred)
