As a Consultant Radiologist, you will play a critical role in providing expert imaging services, interpreting diagnostic images, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.
- Provide comprehensive written reports detailing imaging findings and clinical implications.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss cases and recommend imaging protocols.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated with advances in radiology technologies and practices through continual professional development.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable medical, ethical, and legal standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Consultant Radiologist within private healthcare settings is preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting multiple imaging modalities: X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
- Strong clinical knowledge, including anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and make informed clinical decisions.
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality healthcare delivery.
- Up-to-date with latest radiological advancements and continuing education.
