Job Overview
Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Ayurvedic Doctor to join our manufacturing and production team. The candidate will play a key role in overseeing the production of high-quality Ayurvedic medicines, wellness formulations, and herbal products while ensuring authenticity, safety, GMP compliance, and adherence to classical Ayurvedic principles.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Ayurvedic pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation processes, raw material evaluation, quality standards, and production supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Manufacturing
- Supervise daily manufacturing and production activities of Ayurvedic medicines and products
- Ensure all formulations are prepared according to classical Ayurvedic texts and approved standards
- Monitor batch manufacturing processes, production timelines, and operational efficiency
- Ensure proper usage, storage, and handling of herbs and raw materials
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and GMP standards across the production facility
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure product quality, consistency, and authenticity at every stage of production
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams
- Review batch manufacturing records and production documentation
- Ensure compliance with AYUSH, GMP, and other applicable regulatory standards
- Assist during audits, inspections, and regulatory approvals
Formulation & Product Development
- Support development of new Ayurvedic formulations and wellness products
- Improve existing formulations and manufacturing processes where required
- Work closely with R&D teams for product innovation and standardization
- Evaluate herbs, extracts, oils, and ingredients for efficacy and suitability
Team Coordination
- Train and guide production staff on Ayurvedic manufacturing protocols
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and warehouse departments
- Ensure discipline, process adherence, and efficient workflow management
Required Qualifications
- BAMS / MD (Ayurveda) from a recognized institution
- Experience in Ayurvedic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Ayurvedic formulations, herbs, and classical preparations
- Knowledge of GMP, AYUSH regulations, and quality standards
- Experience in production supervision and documentation

Compensation
Offered salary bracket is between 1-1.5 lakh per month depending on the candidate.
