Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Doctor located in Bengaluru. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients with sexual health concerns, providing expert medical consultation in person and online, and ensuring a high standard of care with privacy and sensitivity. Key responsibilities include conducting medical examinations, prescribing treatments, ordering laboratory tests, and collaborating with counselors to deliver holistic care. The Doctor will also participate in updating medical records and contributing to patient education initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating STIs and other sexual health concerns, with expertise in prescribing appropriate medical treatments.
- Strong communication and consultation skills, with experience providing patient-focused care both in person and virtually.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with counselors and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a valid license to practice medicine in India are required.
- Experience in sexual health or general practice is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Compassionate, professional demeanor and commitment to upholding patients’ dignity and confidentiality.
