Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Orthodontist role based in Bengaluru. The Orthodontist will diagnose and treat malocclusions and jaw irregularities, develop individualized orthodontic treatment plans, and manage follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, interpreting dental records and imaging, placing and adjusting orthodontic appliances and aligners, and coordinating care with other dental professionals. The role also involves educating patients on treatment options, oral hygiene, and long-term maintenance, as well as maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to safety and quality standards. The Orthodontist is expected to contribute to a positive, respectful clinic environment and support continuous improvement in patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dentistry and Orthodontics, with the ability to diagnose and manage a broad range of orthodontic conditions.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in Treatment planning and Dental Care, including preventive and corrective procedures.
- Relevant academic credentials in Medicine/Dentistry (BDS/MDS or equivalent) with specialization in Orthodontics, as required by local regulations.
- Valid professional license/registration to practice dentistry and orthodontics in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Proficiency in using modern dental technologies, digital imaging, and orthodontic software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient education and ethical practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed, accurate records.
- Prior experience in implant-supported orthodontic treatments or exposure to advanced dental implant workflows is an advantage.
