DMAC Living Solutions is currently recruiting experienced RNID Nurses to join a specialist support team providing high quality care to a young person with autism and behaviours of concern in the West Dublin area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing nurse led organisation that is committed to delivering outstanding person centred supports within the community. About the Role
You will be part of a dedicated team supporting a young person with autism who requires a structured, consistent and positive approach. The successful candidates will help create a calm and supportive environment that promotes emotional wellbeing, independence, community participation and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Providing high quality person centred support. Supporting daily routines and meaningful activities.Implementing positive behaviour support strategies. Promoting communication, independence and choice. Supporting community access and social inclusion. Working collaboratively with family members and professionals. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Contributing to a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
Essential Requirements
RNID Nurses
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
Minimum three years experience supporting individuals with autism and behaviours of concern
Experience supporting children, adolescents or young adults is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full driving licence
