Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ayurvedic Doctor role based in Mumbai. The Ayurvedic Doctor will conduct detailed patient consultations, including prakriti and vikriti assessments, medical history reviews, and lifestyle evaluations. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing imbalances using Ayurvedic principles, prescribing individualized treatment plans, and recommending herbal formulations, diet, and lifestyle modifications aligned with the company’s product portfolio. The role involves monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring safe, evidence-informed use of Ayurvedic therapies. The Ayurvedic Doctor will also collaborate with the product and marketing teams to provide clinical insights, contribute to wellness education content, and support brand credibility through participation in workshops, talks, and customer awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Ayurveda (e.g., BAMS or equivalent) from an accredited institution, with valid registration/license to practice as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong grounding in classical Ayurvedic texts, diagnostic methods (Nadi, Jihva, Drik, Sparsha, etc.), and formulation principles, with practical clinical experience in preventive and curative care.
- Ability to design holistic treatment plans, including herbal prescriptions, diet charts, lifestyle routines, detoxification practices, and long-term wellness programs.
- Experience or strong interest in herbal wellness products, nutraceuticals, and functional beverages, preferably in a consumer-focused or wellness brand setting.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills to explain Ayurvedic concepts in clear, accessible language to diverse clients and internal teams.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Mumbai, with a proactive, ethical, and patient-centric approach to care.
- Basic familiarity with electronic record-keeping, documentation, and digital tools for appointments, follow-ups, and patient education.
- Ability to participate in educational initiatives such as workshops, seminars, and content development (e.g., talks, blogs, or informational materials) related to Ayurveda and everyday wellness.
