Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Personal Trainer/Physiotherapist role based in Chennai. The role involves assessing client fitness levels, movement patterns, and pain or mobility concerns, then designing and progressing individualized training and rehabilitation programs. The Personal Trainer/Physiotherapist will conduct one-on-one and small-group sessions, demonstrating proper exercise technique, monitoring form, and adjusting routines for safety and effectiveness. Daily responsibilities include tracking client progress, educating clients on injury prevention and recovery strategies, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver integrated pain management and performance training. The role also includes maintaining a clean, organized training environment and communicating clearly and professionally with clients regarding goals, expectations, and home exercise guidance.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, including program design, exercise technique, and client coaching.
- Experience with Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support performance, conditioning, and sport-specific development.
- Knowledge of Nutrition to provide basic guidance that complements training and recovery goals.
- Relevant certification or degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Experience or training in pain management, rehabilitation, or corrective exercise is highly beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client motivation skills, with an inclusive and respectful coaching style.
- Ability to conduct physical work throughout the day, manage multiple clients, and maintain accurate client records.
- Previous experience in a fitness studio, clinic, or sports performance setting is an advantage.
