Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Orthopaedic Physiotherapist role based in Bengaluru. The Orthopaedic Physiotherapist will assess patients with musculoskeletal conditions, perform detailed physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering manual therapy, prescribing and supervising therapeutic exercises, and using appropriate electrotherapy or other modalities as needed. The role involves tracking patient progress, updating clinical documentation, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals when required. The physiotherapist will also educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, ergonomics, and post-surgical rehabilitation protocols, while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and ethical practice.
Qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (with a focus on Orthopaedics preferred), and valid registration/licensure as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in orthopaedic assessment, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and post-operative rehabilitation.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and home exercise programs in clear, accessible language.
- Excellent clinical documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality in maintaining patient records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintain professional boundaries, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive clinic environment.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up; familiarity with physiotherapy or clinic management software is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an orthopaedic or musculoskeletal physiotherapy setting is highly desirable; new graduates with strong clinical internships may also be considered.
