Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Physiotherapy Doctors at JK REHAB Hospital, located across ANNA NAGAR, MUGAPPAIR, and CHENGALPATTU in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role involves assessing patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. Responsibilities include conducting detailed physical examinations, supervising therapeutic exercises, using appropriate modalities, documenting patient progress, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. The Physiotherapy Doctor will educate patients and caregivers on home care, rehabilitation goals, and preventive practices, while supporting overall clinical quality and safety standards within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT or equivalent) from a recognized institution and valid registration as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of physiotherapy interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative cases.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records, prepare progress reports, and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation protocols, use of physiotherapy equipment and modalities, and adherence to infection control and safety procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills, empathy, and professionalism, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage a varied caseload.
- Willingness to work on-site across ANNA NAGAR, MUGAPPAIR, and CHENGALPATTU locations as needed; prior experience in hospital or rehab settings is an advantage.
