Job Overview
Our client in Pune requires a Hospital Operations Executive to support smooth daily functioning across front office, appointment flow, billing coordination, patient communication, and department-level service delivery. The role is suitable for a healthcare administrator who can solve practical problems quickly while maintaining a professional patient experience.
Detailed Job Description
The Operations Executive will monitor patient movement from registration to consultation, investigation, billing, counselling, and exit. The role includes coordinating appointment schedules, reducing waiting time, supporting insurance or billing queries, handling patient feedback, maintaining service records, assisting department heads with daily reports, and ensuring that reception, nursing, diagnostics, housekeeping, and support staff work together efficiently. The candidate may also help prepare duty rosters, review attendance concerns, coordinate vendor or maintenance requests, and track small operational gaps before they become patient complaints.
This role needs strong communication because the executive may need to speak with doctors, patients, relatives, finance teams, technicians, and external service providers on the same day. The candidate should understand confidentiality, patient dignity, basic healthcare workflows, escalation procedures, and the importance of clean documentation. The role also involves supporting quality-improvement activities, internal audits, complaint-resolution notes, and daily management updates for the centre leadership.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is organised, polite, firm when needed, and comfortable using hospital software, spreadsheets, email, and phone communication. The candidate should be able to manage busy hours without becoming reactive or careless. Final salary, reporting manager, and duty timing will depend on employer interview and operational requirement.
Licensing / Registration Notes
No clinical licence is required for this role. Candidates should submit education documents, prior employment records, identity proof, and any healthcare-management certifications available.
