Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Pharmacist role located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Registered Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications, verify and interpret prescriptions, and ensure accurate dosage and labeling in accordance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, possible side effects, and interactions, while maintaining clear, empathetic communication. The role also involves managing inventory, checking expiry dates, organizing stock, and supporting daily store operations. The pharmacist will maintain detailed records, comply with local pharmacy regulations, and collaborate with other staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-friendly environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription validation, dosage calculation, and drug interactions.
- Experience in patient counseling, medication adherence support, and clear health communication.
- Proficiency in pharmacy operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and record-keeping.
- Ability to interpret and follow medical prescriptions and regulatory guidelines accurately.
- Good command of English and local languages commonly used in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
- Registered Pharmacist license valid in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., State Pharmacy Council registration).
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Attention to detail, ethical practice, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude.
- Comfort working in a retail pharmacy environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
