We are currently looking for a UK-trained Consultant in Critical Care Medicine (ICU) for a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in adult intensive care, including exposure to complex hepatobiliary and liver transplant cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultant-level care in a multidisciplinary Adult ICU setting
- Manage complex critically ill patients, including multi-organ failure
- Lead the peri-operative and post-operative care of liver transplant patients
- Oversee advanced hemodynamic monitoring and organ support therapies
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and ICU teams
- Participate in rapid response and emergency resuscitation protocols
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance
Required Expertise:
- Advanced mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive)
- Sepsis and septic shock management
- CRRT and renal support therapies
- Vasopressor and inotrope management
- Ultrasound-guided ICU procedures
- Airway management and difficult intubation
- Post-liver transplant critical care management
Requirements:
- UK CCT in Intensive Care Medicine (or equivalent Tier 1 qualification)
- Minimum 3–5 years Consultant experience preferred
- Experience in tertiary or transplant centre settings
