MedoPlus has established block-level (Ramnagar, Suratgabj, Tikaitganj and Dariyabad) physical clinics offering OPD, pharmacy, diagnostics sample collection, insurance support, health loans, and Ayushman services. Each clinic cluster is supported by trained staff and specialist doctors on rotation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Dentist (BDS) to diagnose, treat, and advise patients on dental and oral health issues while promoting preventive dental care.
The Dentist will serve across four clinics within the district on fixed weekly days, ensuring each clinic is visited at least once per week. The preferred residence is the district headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat dental problems including cleaning, filling cavities, conduct teeth-whitening treatments, tooth extractions, root canal, and any other similar procedures, getting required pathological tests done inhouse, refer patients for surgeries, in patient needs, and any diagnostic and radiological tests not conducted in-house in the Clinic to MedoPlus partner hospitals and labs, prescribe medication as needed, educate patients on oral hygiene, conduct dental camps at village level, conduct webinars, and provide video and tele-consultations as needed while maintaining required patient health information confidentiality. All diagnoses, prescriptions, and procedures carried out will be inputted on the MedoPlus App for any further use by the patient and treating doctors as part of patient specific health information
Eligibility & Skills
- Qualification: BDS (licensed to practice)
- Experience: 3–5 years as a practicing Dentist
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene and procedures
- Experience in extractions and minor dental surgeries
- Proficiency in handling dental instruments and equipment
- Compassionate, soft-spoken, and patient-friendly personality
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong team collaboration skills
