Position Details: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday (0800-1600; Hours slightly adjustable if needed)
Compensation:
- Up to $130,000 per year, based on prior experience;
- Full extended health and dental benefits;
- 4 weeks paid vacation;
- EH&D + RRSP matching;
- Hiring bonus of up to $5,000, based on prior experience;
- Relocation allowance.
For eligible applicants, this position will qualify for status tax exemption.

Position Overview:
As the Director of Care, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the care of our residents, ensuring that their individual needs are met with professionalism and empathy. You will collaborate with healthcare teams, residents, and families to coordinate care plans and promote a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and document residents’ health status and care needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate daily care activities and communicate effectively with nursing staff and other caregivers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, adjusting as necessary.
- Provide education and support to residents and families regarding care options and health management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification.
- Five (5) years previous experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Previous DOC, Coordinator or Management experience considered an asset.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
