Purpose
- Operating error-free semi/fully automated hematology analyzers and data analysis
- Registration and phlebotomy as and when required with no customer complaints
- Managing sample area distribution effectively
- Zero Nonconformance (NC)
Roles and Responsibilities
Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reportingand maintaining records of patient test result
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures as per SOP's, review and release test results.
Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, instrumentand procedural calibrations and follow safety guidelines as per established organisation protocols.
Make sure reagents/test kits have received dates, expiration dates, and opened dates maintained in requisite temperatures and conditions
Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and immediately notify the COL or Lab Administrators.
Required Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT/ Bsc. MLT)
- Experience: 2 to 4 Years
- Willing to work in rotational shifts
- Preferable State Medical Facility
- Knowledge about documentation requirements for NABL & CAP accreditation
