Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinary Doctor to join our team and work night shifts at our pet hospital in Bengaluru. The role involves providing immediate medical care to pets in emergencies, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, performing surgical procedures when necessary, and collaborating with other veterinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care. This on-site position also includes maintaining accurate medical records and communicating effectively with pet owners during critical situations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Veterinary Medicine, including diagnostic skills and emergency intervention
- Proficiency in performing surgical procedures and managing post-operative care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks during emergencies
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Karnataka
- Experience in emergency veterinary care or working in a hospital setting is preferred
