Job Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations at our clinic. This role goes beyond dispensing and involves ownership of medication management, process optimization, regulatory compliance, and team coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in fertility medications, a patient-first mindset, and the ability to drive operational excellence within a clinical setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accurate and efficient dispensing of fertility medications in line with prescriptions and protocols.
- Provide in-depth counselling to patients on medication usage, protocols, side effects, and storage.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all pharmacy-related queries from patients and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and care teams to ensure seamless treatment journeys.
- Manage and optimize inventory, including forecasting, procurement, and minimizing wastage/expiry.
- Establish and maintain SOPs for pharmacy operations, ensuring consistency and quality control.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, and documentation standards.
- Monitor patient adherence and proactively intervene to improve compliance and outcomes.
- Stay updated on advancements in fertility treatments, medications, and best practices.
- Train and mentor junior pharmacy staff (if applicable) and drive a high-performance
- culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm / Pharm.D).
- Valid pharmacist license and registration as per local regulations.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience; experience in IVF/fertility or specialty pharmacy preferred.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory systems, and clinical protocols.
- Proven ability to manage operations independently and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership mindset.
