The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Junior Resident Doctor to join our team. This position is ideally suited to a doctor looking to build meaningful clinical experience and develop a long-term career in Pain Medicine within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
This is primarily a daytime clinical role with no routine night-duty commitments, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing exposure to a rapidly growing specialty.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment and management of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Participate in pain management and palliative care services
- Work closely with consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-management strategies
- Assist with patient assessment, follow-up, pain procedures, and clinical documentation
- Contribute to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice
- Gain structured exposure to interventional pain medicine, musculoskeletal medicine, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary pain management
Eligibility
Essential
- MBBS from a recognised institution
- Valid medical registration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, professionalism, and a patient-centred approach to care
- Commitment to continuous learning and clinical excellence
Desirable
- Previous experience in Anaesthesia/ Neurology/ Emergency Medicine,/ PM&R/ Pain Medicine/ Palliative Care, or related specialties
- Demonstrated interest in Pain Medicine and long-term professional development within the specialty
- Candidates seeking a stable, long-term association with the organisation will be preferred
