Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Operations Management:
- Oversee daily laboratory operations across assigned centers, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to SOPs, and timely delivery of accurate reports.
- Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise lab managers, cluster heads, and laboratory technicians to maintain operational efficiency, staff productivity, and compliance with quality standards.
- Quality Assurance & Monitoring:
- Review quality control reports (IQC/EQC), identify deviations, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Clinical Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between clinicians, HODs, and laboratory teams to address queries, support interpretation of results, and engage in technical discussions to build confidence in lab services.
- Operational Reviews & Site Audits:
- Conduct regular visits to all assigned locations for performance evaluation, process audits, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow-ups & Escalation Handling:
- Ensure timely follow-up with lab teams on operational challenges, quality issues, and escalations, ensuring closure within defined timelines.
- Process Improvement & Standardization:
- Drive standardization of processes across centers, focusing on efficiency, compliance (NABL/ISO), and patient safety.
- Training & Development:
- Support training initiatives for lab staff to enhance technical competency and adherence to protocols.
- Travel Requirement:
- Frequent travel across locations for monitoring, audits, and coordination activities.
