Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fresher Dentist (BDS) residing in Pune East, primarily based at the Kalyani Nagar clinic with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as teleconsultations and follow-up communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing clinical examinations, assisting in orthodontic and Invisalign treatments, supporting procedures such as root canals, teeth whitening, scaling and polishing, and basic restorative care under supervision. The role involves preparing and maintaining treatment records, counseling patients on oral hygiene and treatment options, and coordinating with senior dentists to ensure high-quality, safe, and ethical care. The dentist will also help manage patient appointments, support digital consultations, and participate in patient education content, online reviews, and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution and eligible for registration with the Dental Council of India.
- Strong clinical foundation in diagnosis, operative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and basic prosthodontics.
- Interest in orthodontics, clear aligner therapy (Invisalign), and cosmetic dentistry, with willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Proficiency in patient examination, treatment planning, informed consent, and chairside communication in clear, empathetic language.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow infection control protocols, and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Comfort with digital tools for appointments, teleconsultations, imaging, and communication (WhatsApp, email, practice management software).
- Strong teamwork skills, openness to feedback and mentoring, and a professional, ethical approach to patient care.
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Marathi/Hindi) is beneficial for effective patient communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as per clinic schedule and participate in training sessions and continuous professional development.
