Job Description – Center Head (Dental Clinic)
Position: Clinic Head
Location: Mira Bhayandar -Mumbai
Reporting To: Regional / Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a clinically strong Dentist (BDS/MDS) to take on the role of Center Head. This position combines active clinical practice with clinic leadership and operational responsibility.
The doctor will perform treatments in their own specialty while also providing comprehensive General Dentistry care, along with overseeing the overall performance of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Responsibilities (Primary Role)
- Perform procedures in own area of specialization
- Provide General Dentistry services including consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine procedures
- Ensure ethical, evidence-based, and patient-centric treatment planning
- Maintain high standards of clinical quality, sterilization, and infection control
- Coordinate with visiting specialists for multidisciplinary cases
2. Clinic Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic
- Manage appointments, patient flow, and chair utilization
- Implement and monitor SOPs, hygiene protocols, and compliance standards
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead dentists, dental assistants, front desk, and support staff
- Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance and productivity
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to the team
- Foster a positive, professional, and patient-focused clinic environment
4. Patient Experience
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and service quality
- Handle patient concerns and escalations effectively
- Clearly communicate treatment plans, procedures, and costs
5. Revenue & Business Performance
- Drive clinic revenue, case acceptance, and treatment conversions
- Monitor billing accuracy and treatment documentation
- Support local marketing initiatives and referral generation
- Track and improve key clinic performance indicators (KPIs)
6. Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly MIS and performance reports
- Coordinate with Head Office, regional teams, and specialists
- Oversee inventory, dental consumables, and equipment maintenance
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BDS (Mandatory), MDS preferred
- Strong clinical experience in General Dentistry
- Ability to practice own specialty along with General Dentistry
- 2–5 years of clinical experience preferred
- Leadership or clinic management exposure is an advantage
- Strong communication, patient counseling, and team management skills
- Basic understanding of billing, KPIs, and clinic financial performance
Preferred Profile
- Currently working as Senior Dentist / Specialist Dentist / Clinic In-Charge
- Experience in multi-chair or chain dental clinics
- Confident clinician with the ability to lead a team and drive clinic growth
