Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Consultant Endodontist, Pediatric Dentist or Periodontist, based in Lucknow. The consultant endodontist will perform specialized endodontic procedures, including root canal treatments, and diagnose and treat dental and pulpal conditions. The consultant pediatric dentist will perform oral healthcare procedures on children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs which will involve preventing, diagnosing, and treating dental conditions while creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for young patients. The consultant periodontist willfocus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases and manage conditions affecting the supporting structures of the teeth and help patients achieve optimal oral health and function. All the consultants will collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care, provide consultations, and deliver expert recommendations tailored to individual treatment needs. The role also includes educating patients on preventive dental care and maintaining accurate case documentation.
Qualifications and Key Roles (Endodontics)
- Expertise in endodontics and proficiency in performing advanced dental procedures such as root canals.
- Strong knowledge and experience in general Dentistry and Dental Care.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and effective Patient Care.
- Background in Medicine and an understanding of oral health as part of overall wellness.
- Master’s degree in Endodontics is essential with additional certificates for advanced dental procedures are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- A state license to practice dentistry in India and prior work experience in a clinical setting are preferred.
Qualifications and Key Roles(Pediatric Dentist)
- Specialization in Pediatric Dentistry (MDS in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry).
- Valid dental registration/license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and parents.
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations for children and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat dental caries, infections, developmental abnormalities, and oral diseases.
- Provide preventive care including fluoride treatments, sealants, oral hygiene education, and dietary counseling.
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, pulp therapy, crowns, and extractions.
- Manage dental emergencies and dental trauma in children.
- Monitor growth and development of the dentition and jaws, referring to specialists when necessary.
- Administer behavior management techniques and ensure a child-friendly treatment environment.
- Educate parents and caregivers on preventive oral health practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
