- A. Primary responsibilities
Technical:
a) Collect the patient samples and barcoding.
b) Authorized to operate, maintain, and analyse patient samples / calibrators / controls on
the following instruments)

e) Perform internal quality control as per defined schedule.
f) Handle, prepare and maintain calibrators, controls as defined.
g) Perform ILC / EQAS / PT Samples.
h) To monitor and maintain accurate testing conditions including room temperature,
refrigerator temperatures.
Quality:
a) To attend training programs related to quality/ technical aspects of the laboratory
without fail.
b) To familiarize with the quality and technical SOPs and implement.
c) To ensure quality assurance practices are followed including daily quality control,
retained sample testing, equipment maintenance, critical value communication, test
repeats and rejects and recorded as defined.
Operations:
a) Provide stock status to the Lab manager as and when required.
b) Operate in the shifts as assigned.
c) To handle and maintain reagents / calibrators / controls in safe and defined conditions.
d) To familiarize with DOS of the laboratory.
e) Ensure that the samples are retained and disposed in safe manner and maintain records
for the same.
LIS:
a) Authorized to collect samples and accept the barcodes.
b) Authorized to validate results after review of raw data and internal quality control.
Safety:
a) To ensure that the safety, PPE and Biomedical waste management guidelines are
followed.
b) To keep the working place in clean and hygienic environment.
c) Inform Pathologist / Lab Manager in case of needle stick injury.
Confidentiality:
a) Shall not disclose any information that was developed /generated / gained during his / her
employment to any such person, body or association that can affect directly or indirectly
the business interest of the organization and confidentiality of the patient.
B. Secondary responsibilities:
a) Any other responsibility assigned by the Pathologist / Lab Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹21,000.00 per month
