Role Description The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized physiotherapy interventions for children and adults with a range of physical, developmental, and neurological needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting detailed physical and functional assessments, designing treatment plans, implementing therapy sessions, and monitoring progress to adjust interventions as needed. The role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, educating families and caregivers on home-based exercises, and contributing to holistic care plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, requiring direct interaction with clients and families in the center’s therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Ability to assess physical, functional, and developmental needs, and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adults.
- Skills in delivering physiotherapy interventions for pediatric and adult populations, including motor development, neuro-rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal care.
- Competence in documenting assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and to guide families and caregivers.
- Capacity to work compassionately with individuals with diverse developmental, behavioral, and sensory needs in an inclusive environment.
- Professional registration or licensure in physiotherapy as required by local regulations, and commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice.
- Prior experience in pediatric or neurodevelopmental settings is an advantage.
