Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in the Greater Vadodara Area. The Physiotherapist will assess children and adults with diverse developmental and physical needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions focused on improving mobility, strength, posture, coordination, and functional independence. The role includes working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team (including occupational therapists, speech therapists, ABA therapists, and special educators) to create integrated intervention plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting assessments and progress, updating treatment goals, educating families and caregivers on home exercise programs, and adjusting interventions based on progress. The Physiotherapist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to parent training or workshops, and support the creation of a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT), with current registration or eligibility to register with the relevant professional council.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric physiotherapy and/or working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental or neurological conditions.
- Strong skills in physical assessment, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions to improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and to integrate physiotherapy goals into broader therapy and education plans.
- Clear, empathetic communication skills for working with children, adults, and families, including the ability to coach caregivers on home-based exercises and adaptations.
- Organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records, track outcomes, and adjust plans based on progress and clinical findings.
- Comfort using play-based and age-appropriate methods to engage children in therapy, with patience, creativity, and a supportive attitude.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and a strong interest in continuous learning in pediatric, neurodevelopmental, and rehabilitative physiotherapy.
- Prior experience in a clinic, rehabilitation center, or school-based setting is preferred; familiarity with assistive devices and environmental adaptations is an advantage.
