This Doctor internship role at Breva is a hybrid position based in Vadodara, with some flexibility for work from home. The intern will support clinical and outreach activities during breast cancer awareness camps, including conducting basic examinations, counselling participants on risk factors and symptoms, and guiding them on appropriate screening schedules. Daily tasks may involve reviewing patient histories, assisting with diagnostic referrals, documenting findings, and collaborating with health educators to ensure accurate medical messaging. The role also includes participation in community sessions, answering medical questions, and working with the team to improve screening protocols and follow-up processes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Foundational knowledge of oncology or women’s health, with a strong interest in breast cancer prevention and early detection.
- Ability to communicate medical information clearly and empathetically to diverse community groups.
- Strong clinical observation, history-taking, and basic examination skills appropriate to an internship level.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, including field-based camps in Vadodara and remote documentation or follow-up work.
- Strong ethical standards, commitment to patient confidentiality, and respect for people of all backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, counsellors, and outreach staff.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends or extended hours during awareness camps, as needed.
